At Autumn Family Dentistry, we provide dental care designed specifically for children, ensuring every visit is safe, comfortable, and positive.
We’re here to create positive early dental experiences that set the foundation for healthy smiles for life.
At Autumn Family Dentistry, we offer a full range of dental services designed specifically for children, ensuring every visit is safe, comfortable, and effective:
Parents are welcome to accompany children in the treatment room to help them feel at ease.
We understand that not every child feels relaxed in the dental chair—and that’s perfectly normal! At Autumn Family Dentistry, our team uses gentle techniques, calm explanations, and distraction methods to make each visit smooth and stress-free.
To help children stay calm and entertained, our treatment rooms feature ceiling-mounted TVs so kids can watch their favorite shows or movies during their visit
For children with higher anxiety, strong gag reflexes, or difficulty sitting still, we offer safe, mild sedation options, including nitrous oxide (“laughing gas”), to help them relax comfortably while remaining awake and responsive.
At Autumn Family Dentistry, we provide pediatric dental care with a focus on safety, experience, and trust:
Many parents report that their kids can’t wait to come back for their next visit!
Before the Visit:
Prepare your child by talking about what to expect. Show videos, read books, or roleplay a “dental exam” at home using a toothbrush and flashlight. Avoid using dental visits as a threat or punishment. Be mindful of your own anxiety—kids are perceptive and can sense if a parent is nervous or overly reassuring.
During the Visit:
Our highly trained team, experienced in behavior guidance for children, takes the time to explain each step using the tell-show-do method. X-rays are only taken when necessary and are age-appropriate. Gentle cleanings and treatments are performed with kid-friendly techniques and tools. Mild sedation options are available for children who need extra comfort. Parents are always welcome to stay in the treatment room if desired.
After the Visit:
We celebrate healthy habits and share simple tips to keep teeth strong at home. Our treasure box is always a favorite for young patients!
Our family loves AFD! Gigi is the kindest and best assistant I have come across. Both of my kids appreciate her patience and gentle demeanor. My youngest is on the spectrum and she took her time and went the extra mile to make him feel comfortable. It’s rare you find mindful and kind service like this! Thank you, Gigi and AFD!
This dental office is amazing. The front office staff, the doctors & their assistants are so incredibly attentive & caring. The office is very clean, they have a little playroom for the kiddos & tv’s in the exam rooms to keep them occupied. It’s great when your children love going to the dentist & aren’t scared!!
My son is very anxious when it comes to doctors/dentist (Covid era, really messed him up especially with the way COVID testing was done)…. My son asks a million questions, cries & gets very nervous. But they do such a good job of reassuring him that what they will do to him will not hurt. Today he had a cleaning with Gigi and she was amazing at telling him everything she was doing. She was patient & kind and just everything he needed. The dentist, Pham, was also great. Love this place. Update: a year later & this place is just as awesome as they were when we first started coming here!!

Yes. We only use low-dose, digital X-rays designed for children’s safety. We follow ADA guidelines to take age-appropriate radiographs. New guidelines state that lead aprons are no longer required, but we can still provide lead aprons with thyroid collars upon request.
We specialize in gentle, patient care and use positive behavior techniques to help kids feel comfortable. Prepare for dental visits by talking to your child about what to expect, reading books, or watching videos about the dentist. For more anxious kids, sedation is available, if desired.
Regular checkups every six months help maintain healthy teeth and gums. Since kids grow and change quickly, consistent visits ensure nothing is missed and dental development stays on track.
Absolutely — healthy baby teeth help with chewing, speaking, and proper spacing for adult teeth. Cavities in baby teeth can lead to infections which can also affect the permanent teeth.
At Autumn Family Dentistry, we make children’s dentistry enjoyable and comfortable, helping kids build healthy habits for a lifetime of bright smiles.
